There is no way to avoid menopause. Eventually you will have to endure it, but you should not be afraid to face it. Many women find the first signs of menopause alarming, as they signal the end of your childbearing age.
When Can I Expect Menopause to start?
The first symptoms of menopause vary greatly. Some women might notice changes in their bodily functions in the late thirties. In most cases this age is too early for menopause, but the body will gradually slow down the production of various hormones, making the body react in various ways: The menstrual cycles will become irregular and the amount of menstrual flow will change. However, actual menopause normally occurs betweeen the age of 45 to 55.
Before actual menopause, women go through a stage called perimenopause. This period varies greatly from person to person, and can lasts from a few
months to ten years or so.
Here are some signs of perimenopause:
- Mood swings
- Vaginal Dryness
- Weight Gain
- Problems with sleeping
- Fatigue
- Body Aches
- Depression
- Irregular menstrual cycles
- Change in menstrual flow
- Osteopoporis
- Lack of concentration
Do not panic! This is a natural stage that we all eventually must go through! It is a natural process and should not cause concern.
